K Series IACV Block Off Plate

The MPC K Series IACV Block Off Plate is designed to completely eliminate the IACV. This is especially useful if you are having clearance issues with your radiator or fan.

 

Surprisingly, the K Series engines run great without the IACV. With proper adjustment of the idle speed, our IACV can be installed with no negative effects.

 

In order to use our IACV Block Off, you will need Hondata K Pro or a similar programmable ECU.

1. Remove the OEM idle air control valve from the throttle body.

2. Install the MPC IACV Block Off, reusing the OEM gasket.

3. Disable the IACV on your Hondata K Pro.

4. While the engine is running, adjust the mechanical throttle stop on your K-Series throttle body to set the desired idle speed.
