K Series Alternator Pulley

  • We’re proud to announce the release of our K Series Alternator Pulleys! 


    Our billet pulley helps realize power gains by using less energy to drive your alternator.  This not only helps unlock a few extra horses, it’s an extremely useful part for those building a K Swapped car who need more hood clearance for the serpentine belt, or who wish to simply clean up the engine bay.


    This is the popular choice, combined with the right belt size, for a ‘3 Pulley Setup’ – completely eliminating your power steering pulley (or EP3 idler) as well as your auto-tensioner.  Using flat washers to shim the lower alternator bolts may be required to achieve ideal belt tension for this setup.


    This product is NOT recommended for those using a large audio system drawing an above average amount of power.

  • The '3 Pulley Setup' eliminates your AC Compressor, P/S Pump, Idler Pulley & Auto Tensioner.  This is done to create a cleaner, less cluttered engine bay and is extremely useful if swapping a K Series into an EF or CRX as the hood clearance becomes an issue with P/S or even the EP3 Idler pulley.


    Depending on your engine, you may need to shim your alternator to create adequate belt tension.  This is done by adding a flat washer, or washers, between the alternator and the engine. This moves the alternator away from the engine slightly, thus increasing belt tension.


    It is also important to check voltage once the vehicle is running.  A healthy alternator with adequate belt tension should produce approx. 14.1 - 14.3 volts at idle.
